Nanyang Family Concert 2006i'm glad i went. coz it was seriously quite a quality show. =) haha. or maybe coz i miss the nanyang spirit and nanyang style of art too much. those performances brought back continuous streams of memories that i wished i could relive. even the lang songs and nan zhong quan tt we used to cringe at everytime we did it during mass dance, couldn't make me stop smiling. nanyang is just so good. (: *i'm biased* haha.
there were actually 2 groups of performances tt i particularly looked fwd to. one was of coz dear shum's theatre club production, which lasted for only FIVE MINUTES!!! hahahaa. tt got lyly highly irritated coz she waited for soooo long for tt show, and probably, coincidentally, it placed as one of the last few performances. but it was good. (: shum was so sexy! haha. yea. our COOL drama queen!
the other performance, need i say it. nyco. yea. =) i think they did great! (: i'm quite glad the stage is humougous enough to stage everyone without cramping the sections together. it seriously looked much better than at SCH, and naturally it sounded better. NYCO is pro! =) hahah. yea. even karweng said the orchestra alone would sound nice enough. hahaha =/
i'm really grateful for being brought into this wonderful nanyang family of arts. there is nowhere else like home. (:
there were lots of surprises tt popped up at the ny concert too. like seeing mr lim (ok..this isn't really a surprise). hahaha. and ms tan!! woo... still as pretty. (: i met ms ong in orchard earlier in the day too! thou i think she has forgotten me, but she still acted like she noes me. haha. whatever it is. its just so nice of her. ^^ i miss her!! and i miss 4/11!! i miss getting inspired every english lesson, learning things not only within the syllabus, but so much beyond.
lyly gobbling down her burger at new york cafe after the concert. she was so hungry she could have eaten karweng whole. hahaha. =/

btw, i missed the last train for the first time in my life! woo. and had to cab home with cass. good thing cass was with me. haha. my poor wallet T_T
